Chiropractic Front Desk and Therapy Assistant team member needed to multi-task at upbeat chiropractic office! Boredom will NOT be an issue! We are looking for a mature, energetic, warm/friendly, detail oriented person to work part time, as the Chiropractic Front Desk and Therapy Assistant.
Initially all staff are trained to assist the doctor and help patients with their therapies, which is a physically active position. This involves teaching/showing patients how to perform therapies and exercises, completing documentation on electronic charts and assisting the doctor with patient flow in the office. Basic computer, Microsoft office (Excel and Word) and internet skills are required.
The Chiropractic Front Desk and Therapy Assistant position involves strong organization and multi-tasking skills: answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, assisting doctor with outside referrals, organization, scanning of patient documents, collecting payments, preparing bank deposits, insurance verification and detailed explanation of insurance benefits to the patient, light cleaning duties. Chiropractic and insurance experience is a plus, but not required. We will train for both the therapy and front desk duties.
The minimum position hours, which are not flexible, are:
Monday: 6:45 AM - 12:30 PM
Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 1: 00 PM (mandatory staff meeting)
Wednesday: 6:45 AM - 1:00 PM
Thursday: 12:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 6:45 AM - 12:30 PM
Tuesday and Thursday morning remote log in hours are required, but flexible to some degree, for about 1 hour to check voicemail and email messages.
Additional hours will be required for the first 30-90 days of training.
This position requires about 25-30 hours per week. Full time in our office is considered 32 hours. Benefits are provided for full time employees after 90 days of FULL TIME employment.
Uniform requirements: neatly pressed, odor free scrubs in black or blue solid color, and clean, debris, odor free sneakers.
Experience is not needed, as we will train you, but it is always welcome. Mature, bubbly, professional, positive personality with a strong work ethic is the only "experience" that is required.
